I want to listen to my Ipod in the car but dont like using ear pieces when driving, anyone have any solutions?
If you have a tape deck, a tape adapter. $15 from Wally-world.
-or-
An FM transmitter. It’s like a miniature radio station that broadcasts on certain frequencies. You just tune your radio to one and enjoy. $20 from Wally-world
Note: Neither one of the options produces "great" results, but will work. For the transmitter, get one that plugs into the cigarette lighter for power, the battery kind eats up batteries.

What are the kinds of cables or plug-ins that will sync the Ipod to the cars audio System
there are three ways i know of.
1 – auxillary port on your deck. just looks like a regular headphone jack but you buy and aux cable and hook the MP3 to the deck ( found at wal mart.)
2 – USB port on the deck. hook your usb charger to the deck.
3 – radio transmitter. it is a little fm trasmitter that plugs into your microphone jack on your ipod and it can send radio waves to a set channel that you can pick up on your radio. (found at wal mart)

I bought an ipod auxilliary cord at Radio Shack that allows me to play my Apple ipod through my car’s audio System. Now I have an Iphone that has replaced my traditional ipod and that same cord doesnt work! It fits the Iphone adapter hole but there is no sound coming through on my cars audio system. Im thinking because the ipod and iphone are both Apple products, the same cord would work for both!
The article has some suggestions except that not all Ipod accessories will be compatible with iPhone and vice versa.
