What else do I i need for my car audio?
I have a 1998 toyota camry and I am Installing a new sub/amp System in it. I am going to leave the stock speakers in it for now because they actually sound great, better than any stock ive seen. I ordered 2 12inch subwoofers and a 350watt amp package from best buy, called the Kenwood "party pack." I am also getting a pioneer car stereo off of ebay which will come with a dash Installation kit and a wiring harness. I will be buying a box, yet to be determined from where. I have almost no experience with car audio but i think i can tackle it myself. What do i need for wiring or anything else?
i recommend reading online about installing, the12volt.com is a great website. you are going to need to measure from the battery to the back of your car for the power wire for the amp. i also add a extra foot to the length. then buy about 4-5 feet of the same gauge wire for ground. thats pretty much it. i would recommend getting someone with experience with the deck its very easy to fry it. good luck!

You should have asked before you bought. For one, it’s $145 shipped online.
This is kenwoods lowest of the low quality equipment and an unusually low power amp for a pair of 12’s. I think you would have been much better served with one GOOD subwoofer and a decent amp. It would have been about the same price, taken up less than half the space, sounded better and probably played just as loud or louder.

you’ll need an electricity cord choose a fat one. A fuse case and a fuse like this

for not to destroy your amp and prevent from cathing fire in the car. Rca cables like these (WARNING look in the picture and see the little wire in the middle of the rca this is for when you turn your key to off turns off the amplifier too)
